Information collected when you visit

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names or email addresses simply for browsing the site. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical data — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — in order to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Information provided at checkout

When you buy the book, checkout takes place on a payment page hosted by Stripe. You provide your payment details and any billing or contact information directly to Stripe. Stripe processes that information as the payment processor and sends your receipt.

Payment processing

Payments are handled by Stripe. Creative Consulting does not receive or store your full credit or debit card number. After you return to our site, we ask Stripe to confirm that the checkout session was paid so we can unlock your download. In doing so we read limited order details from Stripe, such as payment status, amount, currency, and the product purchased.

Hosting and technical service providers

The website is hosted on Lovable's hosting infrastructure. The purchased PDF is stored in a private file-storage bucket provided by Supabase and is released only through a temporary link generated after payment is verified. These providers process data on our behalf so the site and download can function.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout pages for fraud prevention and payment security.

Analytics

We do not currently run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy.

Email marketing

We do not collect email addresses on this website for marketing, and we do not send promotional email from this site.

How information is used

We use information only to:

• operate, deliver, and secure the website;
• process your purchase and verify that payment was completed;
• deliver your digital download;
• respond to customer support, refund, or privacy requests;
• keep records required for accounting, tax, and fraud prevention.

When information is shared

We share information only with the service providers described above (Stripe, our hosting provider, and our file-storage provider) so they can perform those services, or where we are required to do so by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Data security

Payment data is handled by Stripe on its own secure systems. The purchased file is kept in a private bucket that is not publicly accessible, and access is granted through a short-lived link that expires. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle.

Data retention

Order and payment records are retained by Stripe and by us for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your request and maintain a reasonable record of it.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for a correction, request deletion, or object to certain processing. Contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law. Because payment records are held by Stripe, some requests may need to be directed to Stripe as well.

Third-party websites and services

Our site links to third-party services such as Stripe. Once you leave our site, the privacy policy of that third party applies. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
